This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for services booked through MWalk DMC.
Reading this Refund Policy will help you understand your rights regarding cancellations and refunds, booking cancellations and hotel-issued credit notes. Please read them carefully. For further inquiries, please contact our support team.
Are refunds available for all bookings?
Refunds are available for bookings that meet our cancellation criteria. Some bookings may be non-refundable or subject to cancellation fees. Please read the refunds and Cancellation mentioned against each Hotel and service. The eligibility criteria will be clearly stated during the booking process.
We recommend users to read the cancellation rules, policies & charges, amendment & cancellation policies before booking. The hotel terms and conditions retrieved from the tariff notes, and minimum stay rules for the rate are mentioned against each Hotel and is different. If a hotel booking is non-refundable or does not offer any refund upon cancellation, no credit note will be issued in such cases.
How do I request a refund/Credit-note?
You can initiate cancellation through our portal and also can request a refund by contacting our support team at support@mwalkdmc.com. Please provide booking details and the reason for cancellation. Credit notes are processed according to the terms of the original booking.
If the cancellation is initiated by the travel agent or their customer, and the hotel issues a credit note, we will forward that credit note to you as-is. You (Travel agent) will be responsible for utilizing the credit within the validity period mentioned (e.g., 30 days). If not utilized within that period, it will lapse.
How long does it take to receive a refund?
Once your refund is processed, the credit note will be issued to you which can be used for any new bookings. In such cases, we will issue a fresh credit note without expiry, which can be used at any time in the future.
Refunds are only applicable for bookings that meet the cancellation or refund conditions outlined in our terms and conditions.
If the cancellation occurs due to Mwalk DMC’s internal reasons, we will manage the credit note ourselves and issue a full refund to you.
What if my booking is non-refundable?
If your booking is marked as non-refundable, you will not be eligible for a refund unless required by applicable laws or under exceptional circumstances approved by our team.
Are there any cancellation charges?
Yes, cancellations may be subject to penalties or charges as per hotel or service provider policies. These are clearly mentioned during booking.
Can I modify my booking instead of cancelling?
Yes, in many cases you can modify your booking. Please contact our support to explore modification options
You may request a modification by contacting our support team and by providing your booking reference number.
